The project involves rehabilitating old systems, constructing permanent intakes and lined canals, strengthening farmers’ institutions, and promoting socially inclusive and gender-sensitive water users associations (WUAs). The current Technical Assistance (TRTA) project aims to support the analysis and preparation of the Climate-Resilient Community Managed Irrigated Agriculture Project (CRCMIP) in accordance with the government’s and ADB’s standards. The overall objective of the TRTA services enhanced the design and implementation of climate-resilient irrigation schemes in Nepal, considering the impact of climate change on water resources and agricultural practices.
