The project developed water quantity rules for the Mekong River Basin and improve the hydro-meteorological network. It also involved hydrological monitoring, hydraulic modeling, hydro-meteorological studies, data gap filling, and database development. Additionally, the project focused on capacity building of line agencies in the riparian countries. The activities and deliverables contributed to the sustainable and efficient management of water resources in the Mekong River Basin. By developing water quantity rules and improving data collection and analysis, the project supported informed decision-making and promoted cooperation among the riparian countries in managing this vital transboundary river system.
