The project developed the Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay Expressway, spanning a total length of 55 km and consisting of 6 sections, to connect Ho Chi Minh, Long Thanh, and Dau Giay cities, including bridges. The key objectives were to reduce traffic congestion in the road network, promote trade, and save travel time for commuters. The project contributed to easing traffic congestion, promoting regional trade and economic development, and enhancing transportation connectivity between major cities. The engineering design and analysis conducted by the staff ensured that the expressway and its bridges are capable of withstanding flood events and maintained traffic flow even during adverse weather conditions.
