Consulting Services for supervision over construction works on reconstruction of Tyup-Kegen road from Km 39 until Km 76 ans Karkyra -Turuk- Sary-Jaz road section (about 14 Km)
The assignment encompasses two main tasks: supervising a civil works contract and aiding in the acquisition of road maintenance equipment. In the civil works contract supervision, the Consultant oversees the contract execution, ensuring road safety, environmental protection, and compliance with historical site preservation. They review designs, monitor progress, and maintain quality standards. The Consultant also assists in equipment procurement, crafting specifications, evaluating bids, and ensuring equipment aligns with specifications. Environmental and social safeguards are paramount. The Consultant adheres to World Bank guidelines, conducts community consultations, and manages environmental impacts. Occupational safety, including COVID-19 prevention, is emphasized. Heritage preservation involves safeguarding historical and cultural sites, like San-Tash. The Consultant minimizes disruptions and creates action plans for site protection. Training programs and workshops cover safety, environmental care, and pandemic precautions. In essence, the Consultant’s role ensures effective contract execution, equipment procurement, compliance with standards, cultural heritage protection, and safety implementation. This approach aligns with international norms and project goals, guided by the World Bank’s directives.
